Mrs. Meredith

Hello! My name is Patricia Meredith, and I am the STEAM Innovation Teacher at Thrive Homeschool Academy. I am thrilled to be part of the Thrive family and look forward to inspiring creativity and innovation in our students! As a homeschooling mom who’s enjoyed seeing her kids thrive at Thrive, I’m so excited to step across the stream to share my love of learning with your kids! I have always felt that when kids have fun learning, learning sticks, so it is my goal to make my classroom a fun, safe space to create! As a world traveler who’s visited almost every country in Europe and every state in the US, I have a fascination and passion for the wide variety of cultures around the world. My background in musical theater has led to a tendency toward costumes in the vein of Ms. Frizzle, so you may catch me dressing up even when it’s not Halloween. When I’m not teaching, I am an author of cozy, historical mysteries where I love to reveal that there is nothing new under the sun, and we can learn so much from those who have come before us. I also enjoy board games and geeking out with my husband and kids over superheroes, musicals, and The Lord of the Rings. I look forward to getting to know you and your kids better this year, and to encourage a love of learning!
