Mrs. Yvonne Padilla

My name is, Yvonne Padilla and I am the principal of Thrive Home School Academy. Since the school’s beginning in fall 2009, the staff, parent board, and I have worked to create a vibrant enrichment program in service to the homeschooling community. Having enjoyed working with homeschooling families since 2002, I am a passionate advocate for families choosing to educate their children at home. The school community fosters a student-centered environment protecting the emotional and educational well-being of students. The care and consideration taken when making school decisions is grounded in our mission, vision, and values as we partner with parents in this educational endeavor. Having three sons and a daughter, now all adults, was the best preparation for my work as a teacher and now as principal. My favorite activities outside of Thrive HSA walls include reading, hiking with and going to movies with my husband, and spending time with my three precious grandchildren.
