I teach because I love children! In my classroom, I strive to create a respectful, safe, and cheerful environment where students can grow and achieve. It is my ultimate goal to help students develop the process of thinking and explore language arts through both traditional and unconventional methods. I believe fostering relationships with both students and parents is essential in honoring student strengths and individuality. My husband and I have three children, and when I am at home, I enjoy homeschooling my daughters and chasing after my four-year-old son. My favorite pastimes are cuddling with my kids, reading books, researching teaching and homeschooling methods, writing poetry, watching football with my family, scrap booking, and traveling.
