Mr. Mattingly

Kyle is coming to Thrive from 20 years of professional experience in the music industry, working with Walt Disney World, a variety of cruise lines, and playing in many different bands, orchestras and ensembles. He started his career with a degree in classical piano and then quickly learned many other skills because very few people get paid to play classical music! Working with students has always remained something he's passionate about. He's looking forward to bringing all he's experienced into the classroom and can’t wait to hear the insights, talents, and creations of our students. As a fellow homeschooler himself, he understands the unique opportunities Thrive students have within their education and is looking forward to being a part of this community and seeing the students grow and more fully enjoy music!

Kyle is a new(ish) resident of Colorado and is loving spending time with his wife in the outdoors and checking out the many great things COS has to offer. Oh, and seasons - as a Florida-born native, he’s loving how the weather here isn’t always wet and humid!
