Mrs. Gardner

I have been teaching at Thrive Home School Academy since 2011, and for seventeen additional years in AZ and WA. I received my degrees from Texas A&M University (BSEd, with biology/major field) and Western Washington University (MEd. Natural Science/Science Education). I taught my own two children at home for five years, and love being part of the home school community!

I love learning! That might mean traveling, reading non-fiction or historical fiction, or learning to cook something new. I also love sunshine and camping and hiking, so Colorado is a perfect place to live. My husband is a fourth generation Coloradoan, and we love living here. I love spending time with family too- we have a son and daughter in college at University of Tulsa and Tulane.
